Future Alternative

Another Future?

For those who are in the plamo hobby and likes painting metallic color, there is always a need for Gloss finish top coat. For those who are facing financial troubles, they will opt for a cheaper variation which is called the Future Floor Polish. It is a water-soluble acrylic floor coating which has self-levelling properties.

There are some countries which does not carry this product. For those who are in a tight budget and are looking for an alternative, here is a link which might help. This link list of all the alternative products or names of the Future in most countries.

HGUC MSV Zaku II - WIP 1

Another MSV suit

After completing the MG OO Gundam Seven Sword /G, the next project I decided to tackle is another MSV (Mobile Suit Variant) kit. This is the MSV Zaku II. From what I know, the only difference between this suit and normal suit are the legs. This suit has more thrusters and stickers compared to other hg kits.

MG OO Gundam Seven Sword /G - WIP 11 (Final)

Weird looking knees

This will be the final post for the Seven Sword. In previous post, all parts of the kit have their armor on. Now the only thing left to do is to assemble this kit and see how it turns out.

Arranged by sections before final assembly. Missing sections are the weapons and backpack

A changed mind-set

Since the backpack was painted and assembled in the previous post, now is time to complete this kit.

MG OO Gundam Seven Sword /G - WIP 10

SUIT UP !!

+10 points for those who knows the show and the character who likes to say this. As the title suggest, I will be putting on the armors for the MS. Took a while to complete the shadowing and I'm not sure how it will turn out once they are put together. Fingers crossed that they have a consistent look all around the kit.

Since we have assembled the inner frame in the last post, we have to dismantle them in order to put on the armors. As usual we will start with the feet and work our way up to the head (although I accidentally assembled the armor for the head).

SD Blaze Zaku Phantom - WIP 5

More mistakes to come...

Since the mistakes made during the process of paint the backpack was rectified, it is now time to assemble it for the second time. I started assembling the side of the backpack first. I shall call them 'wings' for easier reference. It has the most parts and also I want to see the gimmicks of this piece. From what I can gather from the manual, the 'wings' are able to expand and collapse to hide the missiles.

Closed form of the 'wings'

When the 'wings' are expanded. In this form, you are able to see the various colors on the 'wings'. This makes the 'wings' look more interesting.

SD Blaze Zaku Phantom - WIP 4

Mistakes, Mistakes and more Mistakes

In this post, we will look at the hands and the painting required for the backpack. The hands are simple enough with minor paint job like the rest of the kit. I'm beginning to feel that either this kit has little paint jobs to be done or I'm just too lazy to do so much painting.

Anyways, back to the hand. The parts which requires painting are the hands which are white when they are suppose to be in black and a small vent which will be painted yellow.
